The campsite La Grand'Métairie is a family-run 4-star hotel located in Vendée between Sables d'Olonne and Tranche-sur-Mer. The campsite is celebrating its 10th anniversary and for the occasion, activities will be planned from April to September. The campsite La Grand'Métairie has in its enclosure a beautiful and large aquatic area that will delight young and old. The aquatic area is divided in two. An interior space is present with heated and covered swimming pool which allows to bathe in all weathers, accompanied by a paddling pool adapted to the smallest ones. The outdoor area has a pool for adults but also a paddling pool with water slide and water games that will delight toddlers. Thrill seekers will be delighted to know that a large waterslide is present in the outdoor area and will allow young and old to have fun. For relaxation, holidaymakers can let themselves be dragged by the river against the current and enjoy its refreshing waterfall. Lovers of relaxation will also have the opportunity to enjoy the sauna at their disposal or to extend on one of the chairs on the solarium in the pool area. Children will enjoy visiting the animals of the mini farm and feeding the pony, goats and sheep, chickens and peacocks. A multi-sports field is available for those who want to work out while some prefer the gym. Throughout the stay, sports tournaments are organized for holidaymakers who will be able to compete during football, basketball, volleyball or water polo games. The kids' club will offer the youngest to enjoy various activities such as treasure hunts and other fun and creative activities. The camping pitches offered by La Grand'Métairie are comfortable and give access to very well maintained sanitary blocks. For families who want to be more comfortable, it will be possible to rent one of the mobile homes or chalets available for rent, which can accommodate between 4 and 8 people depending on the model. However, they all have a kitchen, a bathroom, a toilet and a terrace. The reception has been redesigned to give an even warmer welcome to holidaymakers.
