Camping Gerde : The guide

Camping La Pommeraie is an ideal green setting for your holidays in the heart of the Pyrenees. 5 minutes from the famous spa resort of Bagnères-de-Bigorre, on the road of Tourmalet, you will appreciate its proximity to the rocky peaks. Look up and watch the Midi Peak from the camp. The pitches are in the shade of apple and pear trees and calm because far from any road. Tent, caravan and camper will each have their respective areas to settle in nature. A dump station and maintained sanitary are present. Mobile homes are rented and accommodate between 2 and 4 people for a stay in peace. The thermal baths are just minutes away, hiking or other mountain activities (climbing, fishing, rafting, tree climbing ...) are a few steps away and finally the cultural sites are in the surrounding towns. The surroundings are marked by the multitude of sites to discover; Payolle lake, the Mongie-Tourmalet ski resort, the Gavarnie cirque, the Médous caves, the Pic du Midi. Neighboring cities are unavoidable so spend some time in Bagneres-de-Bigorre or Lourdes.

The campsite Adour is in the heart of the Pyrenees in an authentic valley with a view of the Pic du Midi and a river as a limit. Located at the exit of the spa town of Bagnère-de-Bigorre (with all the amenities) and 20 km from Lourdes you will not miss any remarkable sites to discover. Come install your tent, caravan or motorhome on one of its shaded or sunny locations. Rental level the establishment does not miss benefits. Mobile homes, caravans and equipped tents are proposed to accommodate between 2 and 6 people. Each accommodation has a kitchenette, a barbecue and a furnished terrace, some even have several bedrooms and bathrooms. The program of your holidays will include: climbing and via-ferrata, mountain biking, hiking and various water sports. After all that it will be necessary to think to feed and thus to taste the local gastronomy: the black pork, tarbes beans, the cake with the spit or the garbure. You will be in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park so consider enjoying the landscapes and the local flora and fauna. The circus of Gavarnie, the bridge of Spain or the pic du Midi are close.
