Camping Campan : The guide

The campsite Le Layris is located on the town of Campan where flows the Adour and its invigorating water descended from the Pyrenees mountains. A few kilometers from the spa town of Bagnères-de-Bigorre you will enjoy its facilities, including its baths. The establishment is a simple and friendly place in full greenery. The pitches for your tent, caravan and camper are installed in tree lanes more or less spaced to benefit or not shade. The place is equipped with electrical connections and water supplies. There are also pitches dedicated to motorhomes. One of the strong points of the camp is its proximity to many hiking trails. On site you have easy access for paragliding, fishing and cycling and mountain biking. The surrounding municipalities have many other more or less sports outings. On the program: canoeing, horse riding, swimming pool, golf, mini-golf, skiing, tennis ... The Pyrenees natural park offers breathtaking landscapes where nature is in the spotlight. The town of Bagnères-de-Bigorre located 7 km has various thermal establishments for your well-being, quality care is provided. There is also the Occitanie Museum, a casino and several restaurants. The valley of Campan leads you directly to the cable car of the pic du Midi Bigorre so go dare to take altitude to understand what is the chain of the Pyrenees, you will feel tiny in front of this immensity. For less sensations go to Lourdes to admire its magnificent sanctuary.

The campsite Le Saint-Roch takes place on the edge of the pretty stream named Adour, the lapping of the water will rock your sweet nights. Located in the heart of the Campan Valley and surrounded by the Pyrenean mountains you will not make beautiful places to visit. Tent, caravan and motorhome (emptying 1 km) are welcome on one of 36 very large sites. Here you will choose between shade, sun or even both. The camp offers a sanitary block with hot water, it is equipped with a washing machine and ironing board. Here the green of nature predominates but we do not forget civilization with access to electricity. The property also has a cottage that can accommodate between 2 and 6 people. The village of Campan is 2 minutes away, it has a bakery, grocery stores, bars and restaurants. From the campsite you can easily access the activities offered by the region: hiking, cycling, paragliding, climbing, tennis, canoeing, golf, football, etc. 10 min the town of Bagnères-de-Bigorre is dynamic thanks to its markets, small shops, supermarkets, casino and museum Occitanie. For your well being the thermal establishments propose swimming pools, hammam, jacuzzi, sauna and various care. At the end of the valley, towards the south, you will climb to more than 2800 m and admire the panorama on the mountain range since the peak of the South of Bigorre. Head north to stroll through the spa town of Bagnères-de-Bigorre then continue a little more to visit Lourdes and its architecture out of the ordinary.

Camping Les Frenes is located 900 m above sea level in the valley of Campan which leads to the great peaks of the Pyrenees on one side and to tourist towns on the other. Here you will have the choice between nature and scenic sites throughout the year. Put your tent, caravan or camping in a generous nature and recharge with the view of the mountains. Mobile homes are available for rent, they do not have toilets, you will use those camping that are fully equipped and close to your home. The Adour River is 500 m away, enjoy its invigorating water. Nearby you will have access to hiking and biking trails, climbing sites, paragliding jumps, golf, skiing, tennis, football, etc. The campsite is coupled with the Inn of the Pyrenees which is on the same ground, then you will have a bar and a restaurant with a beautiful terrace with views. A bakery and grocery stores are located in the center of the town at 3 min. The spa town of Bagnères-de-Bigorre is 13 km away and offers quality treatments for your well-being (sauna, hamman, jacuzzi ...) as well as shops, a casino and a museum. At 11 km take the cable car of the Pic du Midi and open your eyes to admire a breathtaking landscape. At 35 km is the sanctuary of Lourdes, a curiosity not to be missed.

The campsite Orée des Monts is located at 1000 m of altitude in es Hautes-Pyrénées. It is a family establishment which invites to calm and relaxation. In the campsite Orée des Monts, holidaymakers can enjoy an outdoor pool whose water is heated. This pool will be the meeting place for all holidaymakers wishing to spend a relaxing moment. With the pool is a bubble bath, nothing to relax and enjoy the view. To relax, it is also possible to relax on the deckchairs that are available around the pool. The toddlers have not been forgotten because they have at their disposal a paddling pool, very shallow basin perfectly adapted to their needs and their safety. Several models of mobile homes are also available for rent and will allow you to stay in absolute comfort with your partner or family.
