The campsite Saujon Lake is foul you can not park on the places so they are likely to sink and sanitary are very very dirty and drafty. How can we find 3 stars?

I am rather surprised by the opinion given by some people about Camping du Lac. Indeed, development and security work has been done since the arrival of the new owners. Fortunately, because it was urgent. I own a mobile home since 2008. I see a very positive change in this quiet and respectful campsite. Which was not the case before. Give new owners time to improve the camping situation. He needed it badly. Rome was not done in a day. A little indulgence. I confirm you the kindness, the reception, the availability and the professionalism, that it is in renting or owner.

We have been customers for more than 15 years in this campsite. (3 stars) Summer 2012 are welcomed by the new owners (no organization, unpleasant etc.?) Summer 2013, we reoffend in the hope of improvement at all levels. Alas we are very disappointed, owners are still unpleasant, see aggressive, camping is under construction, excavators, noise, mud etc? In addition all the prices have increased (drinks, games, rentals mobil homes) When this campsite was managed by the former owners (Laurence and Stéphane), we had entertainment every night. Summer 2013 in high season, no animation on 15 days !!! These people are not made to keep a campsite, all disturb them. We took advantage of our 2nd week of vacation to look for a new campsite in the area, we will not go back to the "Camping du Lac", except change of owners. We are unfortunately not alone in this case, during our stay, we discussed with other regulars, very disappointed with their holidays, they will not return to this campsite. We regret the friendliness of Laurence and Stéphane.

Know-All-About-Camping

The Lac de Saujon campsite is a 3-star establishment located in a spa resort. A lake and a river are close to the campsite (300m), as well as the town of Royan and its beaches (12km). This campsite offers the opportunity to spend a stay in a quiet setting in Charente-Maritime.

At the Lac de Saujon campsite, children will enjoy a playground with swings and an inflatable structure. A games room is also present with table football, darts, board games, billiards and television. Holidaymakers will enjoy a beach volleyball court and a petanque court where tournaments are organized. The campsite has a bike rental service. 300m from the campsite is the municipal swimming pool where the whole family can enjoy a heated indoor pool of 25m with a paddling pool. Outside there are two pools, one of which has a water slide. The Lac de Saujon campsite offers an entrance to this pool per day and per person. The fishing lake, which is only 300m away, allows fishing enthusiasts to come and sit on the edge and wait for pike, perch or carp to bite.

In high season, the day ends with theme nights with dance evenings, karaoke nights and mussels and chips, paella. July 14 and August 14, special evenings on the lake with fireworks and themed meals. Children from 4 to 12 years old will be able to benefit from the mini-club and be supervised by a BAFA animator who will have them do activities that are designed for them.

The campsite Lac Saujon offers pitches of 100m2, sunny or shaded ben. All have terminals for water and electricity. A large sanitary space is accessible with shower cubicles, toilets and baby bathroom. A wide choice of mobile homes is available, as well as cottages and bungalows, designed to spend a very comfortable stay between 2 and 6 people. They all have a parking space and a private terrace.
