Camping Le Sable d'Or

Our first time camping in season. We targeted the 4 * to ensure the top. Very disappointed compared to the services announced on the site (in particular due to a flagrant lack of qualified personnel): Very nice complex aquatic but the outdoor pool and paddling pool are not heated: inadmissible for a 4 ****. The chairs and chairs are in very insufficient numbers, no umbrella. Tiling is very dangerous because hyper sliding. The indoor pool is heated but is not enough size compared to the number of people who seeks to bathe. When to enforce the prohibition to jump and dive (a lifeguard not very responsive)? The tiny steam room and the toilets are dirty and unlit. Good idea, the birdcage: but dirty because poorly maintained! The gym does not look like the photos on the site: the devices (treadmill) are out of order, the bikes with saddles ripped, without handlebars or saddle ... the mini-club: the children's reception in animation (when there is) is under a vulgar barnum .... Suggested activities: coloring for any age range. No show, no exit, no animation. Animator to whom we entrust the children totally unconscious: one day our children were "excluded" from the mini club for an unfortunate pencil line on the pants of the host: 2 children of 8 and 4 years, delivered to themselves in the camping for 1h30 since we were not present that morning in the campsite ... Widely enough to complain! Very mediocre animations: Paying animations! (lotos, petanque competitions ...) and sometimes canceled without information. Essentially dance parties all led by unqualified staff (the pizzaiolo!) Home cold, not particularly friendly ... Evening restaurant catastrophic: poor quality food, insufficient (yet there was still no crowd tonight there), staff (bar and restaurant) unpleasant ... The golden sand has a 4-star campsite that name. Very expensive for the benefit. No desire to return because very disappointed with this campsite that seemed very attractive on the net!

Well, for a ZERO 4-star campsite at ZERO, once you have paid for your stay, you can not get anywhere. We were never asked if everything was ok and despite our various grievances with the management we have never seen anyone (really limited staff), we were treated to cats in our mobile home, mice with their poop, at the same time. 'total discomfort, so dubious cleanliness that we cleaned ourselves, sanitary in poor condition, mold spiders etc ... a frozen pool not heated to the outside dangerous edge (tiling too slippery and broken places sharp), we under rabbattus on that of interior too small when we see the capacity of this campsite, the gym do not talk about everything is wear such ... too used material well far from the pictures put on the site. in brief camping with animations mediocre, a dinner party dancing ends in fishtail (the host was drunk, and moreover the cook frankly here gives no desire to eat ... neighbors had flies in their meal ... We will only keep bad things out of this stay, not to mention the feeling of the economy and the appetite for gain, because we have heard of a reduction in the first week of July so we inform the reception and we are told that it is not for us it is for those who reserve last minute following the offer ... then there never seen, it rhymes with nothing and it does not have tail or head.This campsite does not bring all the benefits of a 4 stars and we will not go back, pity that the photos are there just to attract customers ... very very disappointed with our stay
