"Nice shady ground and very good reception!"

le Sat. 21 Jul. 2018

Stay from Mon 9 to Thu 12 July 2018. Nice campground, well shaded and flat; uncluttered spaces but there is plenty of room for everyone. The bathrooms are vintage but functional and well maintained. My little bitch Nova and myself were very well received by David and his wife the new managers, thanks to them and encouragement for the future. I recommend this family-type camping, unfussy but with all the convenience: snack bar and especially the friendliness; you will be able to spend pleasant moments there, do not deprive it!

Description of the campsite

The campsite Le Lac Noir is located on the outskirts of the town of Thonon-Les-Bains bordering the sublime Lake Geneva. A haven of peace just minutes from beaches and thermal baths and the center of one of the most beautiful cities of Haute-Savoie.

Several meadows separated by walkways, with a central sanitary block, waiting for you to install your tent, caravan or camper in the middle of the greenery on flat plots and grassed.

The address offers caravans and mobile homes for rent. The first have an awning, a garden furniture. The toilets are accessible in the block in common. The mobile homes are equipped with a kitchen (refrigerator, plates ...), bedrooms, a dining room, a terrace and sanitary.

At the gates of the land you will access all the local shops such as a butcher, a deli, a caterer, a bakery, a tobacconist, a grocery store, a pharmacy.

Athletes will be delighted by the volleyball court and the bowling alley. A few minutes by car or bike you can enjoy the clear waters of the lake on one of the beaches that offer various water activities.

Direction Thonon and its historic center to enjoy the view. Do not miss the thermal baths to spend a moment of well-being. On-site museums, shops and restaurants will make you discover the local culture. From the port you can borrow boats to cross the lake and discover Switzerland. The mountains are omnipresent and also offer several excursions so do not hesitate to climb.
