Description of the campsite
Camping de la Sélune is located in the beautiful town of Poutaubault 5 km south of Avranches and 12 km east of the monumental Mont Saint-Michel. Your accommodation will be quiet a few meters from a beautiful river, Sélune, which flows into the Bay Mount.
You will stay in tent, caravan or motorhome or rent in mobile homes. A large expanse of grass with multiple trees will make an ideal environment to put your home in the quiet countryside. The mobile homes are fully equipped for a stay as comfortable as at home.
On site the owners have provided for you a toilet block with hot showers, a laundry area with washing machine and dryer. A small grocery store is open on site for your daily needs. If necessary you will find in the center of the village, 2 min walk, restaurants with regional gastronomy. There is also a bakery and charcuterie.
The village borders the Sélune River which is a real invitation to walk or cycle. In the surroundings you can also practice horse riding, fishing, tennis, swimming and golf as the region has many facilities. At 5 km is the sea or a pool, you will be spoiled for choice for your daily swim
The city of Avranches is 6 km away and has several tourist activities. At 20 min you will discover the local wonder that is Mont-Saint-Michel. Normandy and Brittany are at hand to discover their respective heritage.
