Camping La Poterie

The campsite La Poterie is an ideal starting point to visit the Touraine region. Located between Amboise and its famous castle and Chaumont-Sur-Loire known for its garden festival you will not miss activities on the banks of the Loire.

Pitches well defined by hedges of vegetation await tent, caravan or camper. You will connect to electricity if you wish, but whatever happens the Loire will be at the end of your driveway.

Several accommodations are available for rent. You will find the traditional and comfortable mobile home that has at least 2 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 holidaymakers with all the comforts for a pleasant stay. Caravans with canopy are also available for 2 people. You can play the adventurers by renting a Lodge tent. Its roof and canvas walls offer a guaranteed change of scenery. They have 2 bedrooms, a kitchen area and a terrace. Finally, if Scandinavia attracts you, you will choose a Finnish Kota. It is a cocoon of 9 m² covered with wood for unusual nights.

Enjoy the snack bar overlooking the Loire open from morning, for breakfast, until evening for meals with family or friends. Other amenities include laundry facilities, a convenience store, barbecues, linens and refrigerators.

From the campsite you will easily reach the famous sites of the Loire. In 45 min maximum you will join Tours, Blois, the castles of Chambord, Cheverny, Chenonceau or Amboise. You can also sail on the Loire with a pier located in front of the campsite. Do not miss the different vineyards of the region.
