Camping L'Ile Cariot

The campsite Ile Cariot is located in the Marais Poitevin Vendée and offers an ideal starting point for many hikes. This campsite is VACAF approved, which allows to spend holidays at low cost.

An outdoor heated swimming pool is present in the campsite, rectangular in shape overlooking the greenery and the channels of the Poitevin marsh. The paddling pool that accompanies the pool is heated too. A playground is also available for children with hut, spring game, slides, swings and trampoline, all on a grassy field. The holidaymakers will be able to try archery during lessons supervised by a qualified educator. Every Sunday afternoon, campers will be able to compete during pétanque tournaments. Athletes can enjoy a volleyball court and a tennis court 100m from the campsite. Vacationers who would like to discover the canals of the Dried Marsh can borrow free canoes, lifejackets and paddles and admire the nature of the Marais. A bike rental service allows you to go for a nice walk around the campsite.

During the day, activities are offered for the whole family, such as jewelery and scrapbooking workshops where holidaymakers can give free rein to their imagination and leave with their own creations. It will also be possible to make key chains or dream catchers. Track games are developed as well as games with equipment and treasure hunts. Games of life size games are offered at the campsite l'Ile Cariot with cluédo, goose game and monopoly. Vendeen puck tournaments, billiards or Mölkky are organized during the summer. In the evening, the campsite offers evening meals with karaoke, dance evenings, grilled evenings, mussels-fries or paella parties. Lotto nights are also offered as well as board games and belote contests.
