"A well placed and pleasant campsite"

Camping Le Prat Dou Rey is located 10 minutes from the center of Lourdes, while being quiet. Perfectly located to discover the region, at the limit of the high Pyrenees and the Atlantic Pyrenees (less than 30mn of tarbes or pau) Our Gite was comfortable, recently redone, nice decor and well equipped. A barbecue is available, Only downside there is no oven. (but a microwave) The pool is just right.There is also a tennis court, a petanque and ping pong. The welcome on the campsite was great, a (small) team dynamic and responsive. One side "like home" nice. Small grocery store on site, snack and pizzas. The entertainment (mainly in the evening) allow everyone to find his account: night pool, karaoke, barbecue, disco party .... Friendly atmosphere. For me the only lack is that there is no daytime entertainment for children, but the team is reduced I think it will be in the future. We spent 15 days very pleasant and will recommend this campsite with enthusiasm

The campsite "In the shade of lime trees" is aptly named and offers you a beautiful green setting of 5 hectares with four tree lanes to settle you. 6 km west of Lourdes you will be close to the gates of the Pyrenees Natural Park for your excursions.

Pitches, mobile homes or tents Lodge you choose the formula that suits you with as a common point the view of the Pyrenean mountains.

Install your tent, caravan or motorhome on one of 118 locations shaded more or less according to your choice. The campsite also offers mobile homes for up to 8 people. They are equipped with a dishwasher, oven and dressing room, a semi-covered terrace, equipped kitchens, sanitary facilities and toilets separated according to the range that you will select. For a little unusual the establishment also offers tents lodges (canvas bungalows) installed on stilts. The charm of this last home will make you forget the lack of water and sanitary, especially as they are still equipped with refrigerators, coffee maker, dishes and stove.

Restaurant, bar and grocery will facilitate your stay.

For leisure you will enjoy the pool, ping-pong, a playground (with inflatable modules), several sports fields (volleyball, football, tennis). These will sometimes be accompanied by entertainment for adults and children. (karaoke, petanque contest, lotto, art workshops, board games or themed meals). For the sportsmen there is close access to hiking trails, canoeing, rafting, fishing, mountain biking or speleology.

Located at the gateway to the city of Lourdes and its architecture not to be missed, you will easily reach other tourist destinations such as the Cirque de Gavarnie, the Pont d'Espagne, the Pic du Midi or the Bétharram Caves.
