Camping Abbyville Romantic Eco Camp

The Abbyville Romantic Eco Camp campsite is close to the town of Biscoitos, on the island of Terceira, belonging to the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores.

An ecological stay in nature, on a beautiful island of the Azores

Located in an orchard, the campsite offers original and comfortable accommodation, surrounded by a real lush nature. You will stay in a spacious cotton tent and sleep in a bed with a real mattress. The tents are in the shade at the end of the day, a welcome luxury during the hot summer months.

The camp kitchen, the fireplace, the showers and the dry toilets are shared. Abbyville is located in the traditional wine area of Biscoitos, with characteristic stone walls that mark small plots. In the orchard you will find chestnuts, figs, different types of citrus fruits, plums, pears and apples.

The garden crops and fresh eggs are also available. With the exception of the camp's kitchen and bathrooms, there is no electricity in Abbyville, but solar lights.

Many attractions are close to the campsite: natural pools (5 minutes ride), the Wine Museum is just 100 meters away, and some of the island's best walking trails are a 10-minute drive away.

Supermarket, snack bar and bakery, are just around the corner, and the nearest restaurant is 5 minutes by car.

The beach and the museum are within walking distance and down the street stops a bus that will take you to Angra do Heroísmo or Praia de Victoria.
