Camping Capitello

Located in Otricoli in the province of Terni, Campsite Capitello offers a relaxing setting along the river.

An aquatic area is present in the campsite, suitable for all the family and inviting to spend moments of games and swimming. This water park consists of a large swimming pool and a shallower pool with water slides in which it will even be possible to lie down to sunbathe. Jets of water, tunnels and dunes also compose this aquatic space. Near the campsite, holidaymakers can canoe on the river or rafting. The natural setting around the campsite invites to make beautiful walks on foot or mountain bike. Hikers can for example walk along the river on a pretty dirt road. It will be possible to rent mountain bike or race bike. Fishing enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the surrounding calm to indulge in their passion.

The pitches proposed by the campsite are 10x12m, on a wooded and shaded ground with oaks, acacias and hackberries. The campers will be able to install their tent, caravan or camper on earthy or grassy ground. The pitches are equipped with electricity and offer access to the sanitary facilities consisting of showers and washbasins with hot water, provided by a system of solar panels. For a comfortable stay in contact with nature, holidaymakers can opt for a safari tent, consisting of two separate bedrooms, a living room with kitchenette. The interior walls are made of cotton and the outer shell is waxed hemp. Each Safari tent has a large terrace with a wooden table where holidaymakers will enjoy pleasant moments of conviviality. Nearby, it will also be possible to rent one of the houses proposed for larger families.

History lovers will be able to visit the Archaeological Park of Ocriculum, border town and trading point in Umbria and Sabina in ancient times, of which only vestiges remain today. Not far from the campsite Capitello, it will also be possible to visit different wine cellars and medieval villages.
