Located in the Lot, between Sarlat and Rocamadour, camping Les Hirondelles is what is called eco-responsible since it has put in place several solutions to take care of the environment. It uses energy-saving lamps, participates in the selective sorting of waste, prohibits the use of pesticides, has set up time-delayed faucets in the sanitary facilities, limits the modifications of the natural aspect on its ground, the swimming pool is heated by solar panels and uses local products in the dishes it serves to its holidaymakers.
A heated swimming pool is available within the campsite, surrounded by artificial grass, and accompanied by a paddling pool. A petanque court is present, as well as a multi-sports pitch, a ping-pong corner and a playground for children with swings, climbing ropes and slides. Many hiking trails start at the campsite. Athletes will be able to do morning jogging to enjoy the freshness of the countryside, as well as activities such as climbing or caving. Tournaments are organized, whether ping-pong, foosball, archery or petanque. Children also have their share of activities thanks to a facilitator who will offer them fun activities such as treasure hunts, creative workshops or tournaments. Discover the surroundings by mountain bike to discover this unspoilt nature, as well as horseback riding.
In order to enjoy the beauty of the site comfortably, holidaymakers will be able to spend a family stay in one of the accommodations offered. Since 2015, you can rent a wooden cabin perched on the piles and can accommodate 4 to 5 people. More classic accommodations are also available for rent such as cottages, bungalows and mobile homes. For a more traditional stay, Les Hirondelles campsite offers 60 sites spread over a 2.5 hectare park.
Lot and Dordogne offer an extremely rich heritage to discover with many natural and cultural sites such as the famous Chasm Padirac or the Cave Lascaux.
