Camping Le Doumergal

We had discovered Camping Le Doumergal on its website. At first sight this campsite seemed rather welcoming even if it was a bit old. He was even described as a three-star campsite. We booked a caravan for 4 people. Once arrived there, what was our disappointment. The visitor parking was unwelcoming, weeds growing everywhere. The caravan had not seen the shadow of a household for several months, the dust was everywhere. In addition, the equipment was very thin. No microwave oven, an oven out of use, it had to be satisfied with a small gas stove. In addition flies were invasive, so we had to buy sticky tape and caught more than 200 in less than 10 days. The children's play park was also overgrown with weeds. As the sandbank is not protected, it also serves as litter for stray cats. On the entire campsite, gardening is absent, gas bottles full or used alongside weeds and flowers growing here and there. Then what about sanitary. Perhaps a simple observation: the saltpetre took possession of one of the showers whose size is more reminiscent of a cupboard than a shower. Two of the three showers are so old that you have to pull a chain to get water, warm but mostly cold. Access to the disabled is a masquerade: it is impossible to operate the disabled shower without having to get up, and disabled toilets are timed so that once out of the chair to sit on the seat it is necessary to raise to turn on the light again. The set of common places is dirty and poorly maintained. Finally a small, no, a big comment on the boss. He spends his time chatting with regulars, questioning you about your day when you have not even got off your car. He constantly takes a drink with the regulars.
