Located in the Occitanie region, in the Gard department, about 16 km from Alès, in the town of Branoux-les-Taillades, the 2-star campsite Le Font du Merle welcomes you in the heart of nature, in the heart of a forest of pines, at the edge of the river Gardon d'Alès.
In this family campsite with direct access to the river, you can stay comfortably in mobile homes for 4 or 6 people or in chalets, including a covered outdoor kitchen, for 4 people, all with garden furniture. Will also be provided to receive your tents, motorhomes and caravans, shady pitches, provided with electrical connections and a service area for motorhomes. Note also that the campsite offers group accommodation.
At the sports and leisure level, there is an outdoor swimming pool on the site, surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas, a playground for slippers, table tennis and basketball petanque and football without counting the direct access to the river, suitable for fishing and swimming.
To soothe your little thirst and hunger, or vice versa, you can enjoy, by the pool, a bar and a food court, called La Guinguette, offering among other things a breakfast service, ice cream and various drinks, ready meals and various snacks to eat on the spot.
From this quiet campsite with a warm atmosphere, win the nautical base Camboux, 5 km away, to practice sailing or canoeing, indulge in the pleasures of hiking or horse riding and go to the meet the inevitable Cévennes National Park and Pont du Gard!
