Camping Chantecler

A well located campsite with huge potential ... Unfortunately very disappointed with this campsite, I come for years and the situation is deteriorating from year to year ... No maintenance of green space (just a seasonal cleaning for Cleaner), the sanitary leave to be desired (water jet cleaning to make cleaner, even rag to clean the toilets, sinks, showers and crockery ... Super hygiene!) Last summer ( in 2013) I had the joy of spending my holidays in a camp of gypsies ... (And yes, at the Chantecler campsite we welcome travelers, great surroundings ...). And of course the gypsies had all the rights: several parking spaces, multiple electrical connections, connection to the water ... While I asked the host (The "Blonde", Valerie) and I was refused the right to plug in the water. Later I was even thinking of parking at the bottom of the campsite to leave the parking space free! The access to the campsite and prohibited by vehicle from 23:00 to 7:00 ... But some people drive when they want! they have codes activated for the night simply because they know the Valerie or are part of the direction ... Last year, around 2am, I saw a young drunk in a car and the guard told me he was part of the family ... So he had all the rights !! For the restaurant, it's the same, at the customer's head !! Prices and service changes depending on the client !!! I saw the restaurateur refuse customers and accept others 10 minutes later ... Not to mention the wait: 3 meals taken in a week and more than 30 minutes of waiting each time and more not really quality !! The pool is big no matter too, no real monitoring, everyone does what he likes.Les clients must make the law ... Not to mention that the bar opens when it suits them and it is normal that 'in August there is no more cool drink for sale ?? (I was told that stocks were exhausted ... Dice August 15, nothing to drink!) And animations ??? A shame!!! A stealthy activity at the pool a day, that's all .... No really entertainers, just the kids in the management who are there to get their salary! No night entertainment, no prom, contests, organized games, outings ... ETC, ETC. Nothing, the big empty side animation !!! In short, a campsite where you have to spend just one night without children and rather reserved for retirees because nothing is done for young people, no place to put the evening without disturbing to listen to some music! Here I just spent 15 days and I go again very disappointed because it will be 5 days today that there is more hot water in bathrooms ... Great service, and once again, anything big! I have the impression that everything is done to make you spit a max of money, that in this campsite everything is appearance and the head of the client !! And this Valerie I wonder where she comes from ?? As soon as there is a problem it is hidden, and if you have a problem, do not address it because once in two it sends shit customers, never seen! To conclude, only one tip: Go elsewhere, it is one of the most expensive camping in the region that is far from deserve its 4 stars, not at all suitable for children. It was for me my last visit to this campsite, really too disappointed !!!!!
