The Au Grand Large campsite is almost an island as water is omnipresent around the establishment, moreover some sites have their own pier. Located on the edge of Grand Large which is part of the marsh of Saint-Omer you will appreciate its green and quiet surroundings a few kilometers north of Saint-Omer in the heart of Nord-Pas-de-Calais.
Several ranges and sizes of mobile homes are available for rent. Each house is fully equipped and has an outside to enjoy the great outdoors and water. With luck you can even fish from your mobile home because some have their feet in the water (in the figurative sense of course).
Plots are empty to make room for your tent, caravan or motorhome for stays "nature". Remember to ask for the electrical connection if you wish.
Like many camping in the North you have the opportunity to rent your parcel year to enjoy the whole season benefits. Do not forget to ask for a pontoon if you want to park your boat.
8 minutes by car, in the town of Saint-Omer, you will find all the amenities to spend an excellent stay without the hassle of everyday life. The establishment is located in a natural environment but is not cut off from everything. A few minutes you can enjoy the tourist attractions of the region. Start with a stroll along the marsh from Salperwick. A few minutes away there is the dome of Helfaut and the blockhouse of Eperlecques. The nearest aquatic center, Sceneo, is 12 minutes away. In 45 minutes you will reach the beaches of Dunkirk or even Boulogne-sur-Mer where is the famous aquarium Nausicaa. Lille and its old town are accessible in 1 hour.
