To choose your campsite in Alsace, it's essential to know that Alsace is divided into 2 departments: Bas-Rhin (prefecture: Strasbourg) and Haut-Rhin (prefecture: Colmar). The average price of a campsite in Alsace is 650€ per week in a mobile home in high season and 300€ per week in low season. You will find 28 campsites in Alsace in the Bas-Rhin, among which we have chosen the campsite Le Ried 2*, located 28 km from Strasbourg, more precisely in Boofzheim, offering beautiful services, such as a pleasant covered and heated swimming pool, and access to a lake and a river in which fishing is authorised. In the heart of the beautiful Alsatian countryside, you will enjoy the calm but also the varied activities that the campsite team organises every day. The Cigoland amusement park is located just a stone's throw from the campsite, for the enjoyment of children... and adults! Visit the emblematic and unmissable Strasbourg, and stroll through its city centre, which is fully listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where traditional half-timbered houses (Kammerzell House) are surrounded by magnificent monuments (Notre-Dame de Strasbourg Cathedral, the most visited monument in the region).

There are 36 campsites in Alsace in the Haut-Rhin, a department that hosts the flagship towns of Colmar and Mulhouse. If you have decided to spend your holidays near Colmar, we have selected for you the camping des Trois Châteaux 3*, in Eguisheim (7.5 km), a charming bucolic campsite located in the heart of the vineyards so developed in the region, with a view over 3 beautiful castles overlooking the surrounding hills. In addition to having access to the usual amenities, you can discover the pretty medieval village of Eguisheil, elected the favourite village of the French in 2013, and, of course, discover Colmar and the fabulous Unterlinden museum with its mythical Issenheim altarpiece from the cycle paths along the campsite. Monkey Mountain, an animal park where you can approach the Magot monkeys, in total freedom in the park, will delight the whole family during your holidays in Colmar.

If you prefer to settle near Mulhouse, a city bordering Germany and Switzerland, we have identified a campsite in Alsace that will allow you to fully enjoy this beautiful city. The Ill 3* campsite will welcome you to its wooded grounds bordering the Ill river, and will offer you many activities during the day and in the evening. From this campsite, spend a magical day at the nearby Mulhouse Zoo or stroll through the streets of Mulhouse, its historic centre flanked by the beautiful Place de la Réunion, or Saint-Louis, some 20 kilometres away, home to the nature reserve of the Petite Camargue alsacienne. You can learn more about this beautiful region by visiting the Ecomuseum of Alsace in Ungersheim, near Mulhouse. A land of the Ill, Alsace promises all the aquatic activities that can be carried out along the waterways (canoeing, boating, fishing, swimming...) and invites you to take a beautiful boat trip to discover these green banks. The Jura and the Ballon des Vosges natural park, as well as several magnificent forests, offer you endless possibilities for hiking, horseback riding or cycling along the cycle paths. But above all and finally, do not miss the essential sites that are: the castle of Haut Koenigsberg in Orschwiller, the Mont Sainte-Odile in Otrott, surrounded by one of the 3 mysterious pagan walls of Alsace, ancient remains, the 2 others being located at the foot of the Franckenbourg castle and on the Taennchel ridge. Christmas markets are also part of Alsace's wonders, so don't hesitate to brave the cold to discover them!
